Behind the Scenes: How the Store Operations/HR Team Keeps MPorium Running Smoothly

The Store Operations/HR team plays a vital role in MPorium’s success by managing staff schedules, overseeing store procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. At the beginning of each semester, the team leads an in-depth training session covering essential information to foster a positive and productive environment for both customers and MPloyees.

To maintain consistency and organization, a detailed checklist is followed during every opening and closing shift. Strong and open communication is a key part of our operations, allowing the team to address challenges proactively and ensure the store runs efficiently. Student Director Lizzie Bracco says, "By using class time as business meetings and maintaining organized GroupMe chats, we ensure that all team members are aligned and communication remains constant.

One of the highlights each week is selecting an "MPloyee of the Week" to celebrate outstanding contributions. This recognition is given to a team member who consistently exceeds expectations both during store shifts and within their team responsibilities.


Thanks to the dedication of the Store Operations/HR team, MPorium is able to operate smoothly and successfully.
